This book is not really about financial independence, but it is closely related to it. Investigative journalist Charles Duhigg writes about human habits, what they are, how they work and what we can do to change them. Get rid of bad habits or implement good habits. You can apply the knowledge in his book to many different aspects of your life. For instance, you can use it to quit spending money on items you don't need or create a frugal habit.

The Simple Path to WealthSPTW

Written by John Collins this book gives a more technical approach to financial independence. Even though it's a technical story, it is also a very readable book. You won't need extensive knowledge about the stock markets to understand the theory. It also gives you the motivation and the courage to invest you money in ETF's yourself. I enjoyed reading this book and I surely recommend it.
